{"id":3832,"date":"2015-12-16T11:48:59","date_gmt":"2015-12-16T11:48:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/?p=3832"},"modified":"2015-12-18T13:47:56","modified_gmt":"2015-12-18T13:47:56","slug":"its-official-let-panic-ensue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/argoknot.s005.wptstaging.space\/?p=3832","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Official&#8230;.Let Panic Ensue!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday afternoon, while I was enjoying a holiday lunch with two of my dear friends from New York\/New Jersey, Bob got word from the State Department \u00a0(specifically someone in the OFAC office&#8211;Office of Foreign Assets Control) that we have been approved to visit Cuba this winter.<\/p>\n<p>I am now officially excited and scared to death. \u00a0There is a 350 mile ocean crossing from Turks and Caicos to the first landfall just west of Guantanamo, Cuba. \u00a0I know that&#8217;s only 1\/5th of what our sailing friends do when they sail to the BVI, but it&#8217;s more than this landlubber is ready to tackle&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, here is a little Christmas cheer from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.delamarsouthport.com\/?&amp;utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_term=delamar%20southport&amp;utm_campaign=Brand\">Delamar<\/a> in Southport, Connecticut.
